Reading the market name
"Match result" in football usually means 90 minutes plus stoppage time. "To qualify" includes extra time and penalties. Basketball moneylines usually include overtime. The market name and Stake's rules decide settlement, so read both. Sport guides: football, basketball.
Singles and multiples
A single is one selection. A multiple (accumulator or parlay) combines several, and every leg must win. See accumulators. If odds formats confuse you, read odds explained.
Single or multiple
| Single | Multiple | |
|---|---|---|
| Legs | One | Two or more |
| Chance to win | Higher | Drops with each leg |
| Return if it wins | Smaller | Larger |
Cash out
Some bets offer a cash-out price before the event ends. It usually includes a margin. See cash out explained.
