How it works
The wheel and layout are European. After bets close, lightning strikes a handful of numbers with multipliers. If your straight-up number wins and was struck, the multiplier applies.
The trade-off
Without a strike, a straight-up win pays less than standard roulette. You give up a bit on most wins for a shot at a large one.
Lightning versus standard
| Standard European | Lightning Roulette | |
|---|---|---|
| Straight-up payout | 35 to 1 | Lower, plus multipliers |
| Outside bets | Standard | Standard |
| Swings | Lower | Higher on numbers |
