Monopoly Live on Stake: the wheel and the 3D bonus board

Monopoly Live is an Evolution game show that combines a money wheel with a 3D board bonus. Number segments pay fixed odds, Chance segments award a cash prize or a multiplier, and 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls segments send Mr Monopoly around the board to collect prizes. Each spot's published return is in the help panel. 18+.

The wheel

In the standard version, the wheel has number segments, 1, 2, 5 and 10, plus Chance segments and the two bonus segments, 2 Rolls and 4 Rolls. Number segments pay at their odds. The help panel shows the layout, which tells you how often each spot should come up. As in most shows, the bonus segments are much rarer than the low numbers.

Chance

When the wheel lands on Chance, the host reveals a card. It's usually either a cash prize or a multiplier that applies to the next spin. Chance isn't a separate bet; it affects whatever you have on the wheel. The help panel explains how Chance cards are drawn.

The board bonus

If the wheel lands on 2 Rolls or 4 Rolls and you backed that segment, you enter the bonus. In outline, Mr Monopoly rolls two dice and walks the board, collecting the multiplier on each property he lands on. Doubles can give extra rolls. Some squares, like Chance and Community Chest, add prizes or moves; landing on "Go To Jail" can end the walk. When the rolls run out, your bonus win is your stake on that segment times the total collected.

Return by bet spot

Like other shows, Monopoly Live publishes a separate return for each spot. Number spots and bonus spots differ. Check the help panel and remember that the bonus spots carry the most swing.

A worked example

Invented numbers. You bet 1 on 4 Rolls each spin. Most spins lose that stake. When 4 Rolls lands, Mr Monopoly might collect a modest total, or, with doubles and rising property values, a much bigger one. Over a short session, you might see no bonus at all. Adding a small stake on 1 or 2 smooths the ride a little but doesn't change the average.

Play Monopoly Live

  1. Read the help panel for each spot's payout and return.
  2. Set your stake per spin and a session limit.
  3. Bet on numbers, bonus segments or both.
  4. Watch the wheel; Chance can add a multiplier for the next spin.
  5. If your bonus segment lands, watch Mr Monopoly walk the board.

Choices

In the standard version you make no choices in the bonus. The dice and the board decide everything, which makes Monopoly Live easy to follow.

Myths

Each bonus starts fresh, and the dice are independent. Past bonus results don't predict future ones. Our live dealer tips cover the common myths.

How it compares

Crazy Time has four different bonuses and a Top Slot. Funky Time uses letters and disco rounds. Mega Wheel has no bonus rounds at all. The game shows hub has the overview, and Evolution on Stake covers the studio.

Data and devices

The 3D board is animation heavy. On a phone, use Wi-Fi or lower the stream quality. See live casino on mobile.

Responsible play

The board bonus can feel close to a big win even when it isn't. Why 4 Rolls is worth more

More rolls means more squares visited and more chances to collect, so a 4 Rolls bonus tends to pay more than a 2 Rolls bonus. It also lands less often on the wheel. That's the usual trade in game shows: the bigger the bonus, the rarer it is. Backing both spreads your stake across two rare outcomes, which still leaves most spins as losses.

Limits and stake size

Bet size matters most on the bonus spots, because your bonus win is a multiple of that stake alone. A tiny stake on 4 Rolls gives a tiny bonus win, even with a strong walk. Pick a stake you'd be happy to lose many times in a row. Our table limits and etiquette guide has more on sizing.

Watching first

You can join and watch without betting. A few board bonuses show you how the walk adds up.

Who it suits

Players who enjoy a single, easy-to-follow bonus with a board game feel. If you want more bonus variety, Crazy Time has four. If you'd rather avoid long bonus rounds, a classic table such as live roulette is steadier.
