Unique password
Reuse a password from another site and one leak there exposes your Stake balance. A password manager makes unique passwords easy.
Turn on 2FA
- Install an authenticator app.
- In Stake, open Settings, then Security.
- Start 2FA and scan the QR code, or enter the setup key.
- Enter the six-digit code. It changes every 30 seconds.
- Confirm the email link Stake sends.
Never share the QR code or setup key. If you lose the device, email recovery@stake.com from your account's address.
Passkeys
A passkey is tied to your device and the real domain, so it can't be typed into a fake site.
Real Stake emails
Official senders
| Address | Used for |
|---|---|
| noreply@stake.com | Security, login, verification, codes |
| noreply@mail.stake.com | Marketing |
| support@stake.com | Support |
If a "Stake" email comes from any other domain, don't click its links. Report it to support.
Phishing
Fake sites copy Stake's look and push you to "verify" or "claim" something. Go to stake.com yourself. Never share your password, 2FA codes or a wallet seed phrase with anyone, even someone claiming to be support or a VIP host. If you're locked out, see login problems.
