How to use the Stake Vault to set money aside

The Stake Vault is a separate space in your account where you can park part of your balance so you don't play it by accident. It doesn't earn interest. Keeping money in a separate place adds a pause before you play it. This page shows how to use it as a simple fence around your session budget. 18+.

What the Vault is

A second pocket inside your account. Money in the Vault isn't available to bet until you move it back to your balance. It isn't a savings account.

Move money into the Vault

  1. Open your wallet or balance menu.
  2. Choose Vault.
  3. Enter the amount to set aside.
  4. Confirm.

Using it as a fence

Decide your session budget before you start. Put everything else in the Vault. When the playing balance is gone, stop. A deposit limit is a stronger version of the same idea, because it limits what comes in.

Taking money out

Move funds back to your balance, then withdraw. Depending on your settings, Stake may ask for a 2FA code.
