What a code does
A code tells Stake which offer you want. The offer itself, with its wagering and limits, is defined in Stake's terms, not in the code. If the code is wrong or expired, nothing bad happens; you just don't get that offer.
Where to enter one
Codes usually go in one of two places: a field during registration, or an offers area in your account menu. The layout can change with site updates, so check what Stake shows you. If you can't find it, ask live chat before you deposit.
Enter a promo code
- Read the offer's terms on Stake first.
- Find the code field during sign-up, or in the offers area once you're logged in.
- Type the code exactly as it's written.
- Check that the offer now shows in your account.
- Only then make the deposit the offer needs, if it needs one.
What a code can't do
- It can't turn a losing game into a winning one.
- It can't make you eligible if your country, account or VIP level isn't.
- It can't undo a breach of the offer's terms.
- It can't get you onto Stake from a prohibited place.
Fake code sites
Some sites promise "secret" codes, free crypto or giveaways to get your login details. Stake warns that scammers copy its site to steal logins.
