The Stake daily reload: how it works and common pitfalls

A Stake reload is a recurring reward that Stake offers to selected players, often through the VIP Club. Stake decides who gets one, how much and for how long, and the amount isn't fixed or promised. Any claim window is set in the reload's terms. Here's how reloads work and where players trip up. 18+.

What a reload is

A reload is a reward paid on a schedule, such as once a day, for a set period. It's a loyalty tool. Stake decides who gets one, how much, and for how long, based on its own criteria. It isn't a right that comes with an account, and it can stop.

From what we can see, reloads go to selected players, often through the VIP Club, not to everyone. Stake doesn't publish the criteria. If you haven't been offered one, that's normal.

How amounts are set

Stake doesn't publish a formula, and we don't guess one. Casinos usually size reloads from recent wagering and VIP status, which is why two players on the same level can see different amounts. Any figure you read on a forum is one account's experience, not a rule.

Claim windows

Casino reloads usually come with a claim window. If the terms on your reload set one, a claim you miss may be lost. Look for the claim button, and any timer, in your account or VIP area.

Common reload pitfalls

PitfallWhat happens
Missing the claim windowThat period's reload may be lost
Expecting a fixed amountAmounts can change from one period to the next
Playing more to "keep" the reloadCosts more than the reload returns
Ignoring the termsSome reloads carry wagering or game limits

The math of keeping a reload alive

Players sometimes feel they need to keep wagering to keep reloads coming. Look at it the other way round. If a reload returns a small share of what you bet, every extra bet you place to protect it carries the full house edge. Made-up example: if extra play of 2,000 at a 2% edge costs you about 40 on average, a reload worth 10 doesn't cover it. The numbers are invented; the logic holds for any reload.

Wagering on reloads

Some reloads arrive as cash and some carry conditions. Read the terms attached to each one in your account. If there's wagering, the bonus page explains how to work out the cost, and how to claim a bonus covers rules like maximum bet that can void it.

Handle a reload sensibly

  1. Open your VIP or rewards area and read the reload's terms.
  2. Note the claim time and how long the reload runs.
  3. Claim it if the terms suit you.
  4. Keep your planned stakes. Don't raise them for the reload.
  5. Let it lapse if you're taking a break.

Reloads and breaks

If you set a break-in-play or self-exclusion, reloads stop mattering, and that's fine. Missing a reload is a small cost next to staying in control. Our responsible gambling page explains Stake's tools.

Reload or rakeback?

Rakeback is tied directly to your wagering and is usually steady. A reload is a scheduled offer that can change or end. See rakeback and the rewards guide for the difference.

Asking for a reload

You can ask support or a VIP host whether you're eligible. Nothing is promised. If a host suggests you'd get a bigger reload by playing more, treat that as a sales pitch.

A week of reloads, worked through

Here's how a week might look for someone offered a daily reload, using invented numbers. On Monday they claim it and play as planned. On Tuesday they're busy and the window closes, so that reload is gone. On Wednesday the amount is smaller than Monday's. By Friday they notice they're logging in just to claim. That last point is the one to watch. A reward that changes when and how often you open the site is shaping your habits.

If that sounds familiar, turn off notifications and only claim when you'd have played anyway. Or ask support whether they can switch off promotional offers on your account. Some players find that easier than resisting a daily timer.

Reading reload terms

Look for four things in the terms attached to a reload: how long the reload series runs, when each one becomes claimable, whether it carries wagering, and whether a maximum bet applies while it's active. If any of those are missing, ask live chat before you claim.

A note on dates

Checked against Stake's own pages on 13 October 2026. Reload offers, amounts and claim rules are set per account and can change, so the terms in your account win over anything here. Reloads are for adults only (18+, or the higher legal age where you live). Stake.com isn't available in the US, the UK, Australia, Ontario or the other places on Stake's prohibited list, and that list can change.

FAQ

How much is a Stake reload?

It varies by account. Stake sets it, and we don't publish amounts.

Does a reload have wagering?

Read the terms attached to it in your account. Some reloads carry conditions.

What if I miss a claim?

That period's reload may expire. Check the terms for how missed claims are handled.

Can I ask for a reload?

You can ask support or your host. Nothing is promised.

Do reloads continue forever?

No. Stake can change or end them, so don't plan around one.
